Get to know Kate

Kate Stanford is a faith-based folk pop singer/songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee. Through honest songwriting and hopeful messaging, Kate points her listeners back to the love of Jesus. Her music brings light in the darkness.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kate began singing at 6 years old. After releasing her debut EP Bloom at 17 years old, her song “I’m a Believer” was featured on the “Palau the Movie” soundtrack and played in theatres nationwide.

Now a Nashville resident of 3 years, Kate is paving her own path in the music industry. She has brought her sound to major festivals like Soulfest, SonRise, Lifest, and Kingdom Bound, and has opened on tour for artists such as Seph Schlueter and Jaci Velasquez.

Her new single “Rise” unpacks the struggles of living in the age of constantly evolving social media and technology culture, which can sow fear and division. Yet even through the chaos of the world, “Rise” points us back to hope in Jesus.

There is comfort in its consistency. The sun will always rise each morning, so we can too.
